Zusammenfassung

In 2016, the Going Romance conference series celebrated its 30th edition and the Goethe University of Frankfurt (Germany) had the honor to organize this special edition. The edited volume at hand presents a selection of 17 peer-reviewed articles, based on papers that were presented at this occasion.00The volume covers a wide range of phenomena, ranging from morphosyntax to prosody. Some are discussed under a synchronic perspective, others under a diachronic perspective or in the context of language acquisition. Due to this spectrum, contributions focus either on theoretical or on empirical reasoning. The studied languages include not only the better-known languages of French, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, and Spanish, but also lesser-studied varieties such as Aromanian, Gallo, and Sardinian
